The ITU Annual Charity Invitational is more than a tournament—it’s a celebration of purpose, community, and the power of sport. Hosted by ITU Golf Wear and the ITU Foundation, this event brings together corporate leaders, golf enthusiasts, and changemakers for a round of golf that truly matters. Held at the prestigious Zebula Golf Estate, the day combines world-class golf with meaningful impact. Proceeds support ITU Foundation programs focused on youth golf development, access to training, mentorship, and community wellness. Now in its 6th year, the Invitational continues to be a platform where purpose meets play—helping shape a more inclusive future for golf in South Africa.
Coaching
Our group coaching sessions are transforming young golfers — enhancing technique, strategy, and self-belief. Led by experienced pros, these dynamic sessions create a supportive space where players grow together. Over the past year, we’ve seen real progress in performance and passion. With continued support, we are building a strong foundation for the next generation of golf talent.
SA Kids Golf Games
Our golfers participated in three tournaments this quarter, showing significant improvement due to professional coaching. Continued effort and support are crucial for their development. The dedication of junior golfers is evident, with a focus on individualized attention to maximize each player’s potential. The upcoming season offers more growth opportunities through additional tournaments and training, fostering both competitiveness and a lifelong passion for the sport.
Supports Youth Development
We have equipped 32 junior golfers with complete uniforms and high-quality golfing shoes from FootJoy, in collaboration with Stacey Bregman. The stylish and comfortable uniforms foster team spirit and professionalism, while the shoes ensure performance and safety. This partnership enhances our junior players’ confidence and enthusiasm as they develop their skills on the course.
Celebrating a Major Milestone
A standout feature of this initiative is 18-year-old Omphile Selepe’s acceptance into the esteemed Balderstone Sports Institute. This accomplishment signifies an important milestone in his academic and athletic journey, providing him with the chance to thrive in both fields under exceptional mentorship. This initiative not only nurtures golfing talent but also emphasizes the educational growth of these young athletes, preparing them for success both on and off the course.
